Job Title: Substation QC Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Substation Construction Manager to oversee a large substation project in Sherman, TX, supporting a CHIPS project. This role involves managing all construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with project employees and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all construction activities for the substation project.

Ensure subcontractors execute work according to safety, quality, reporting, contract, standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements.

Maintain proper communication with the project team and stakeholders.

Conduct standardized reporting and appropriate construction meetings.

Essential Skills

Experience in substation construction.

Proficiency in construction management.

Knowledge of civil engineering principles.

Possession of OSHA Construction 30 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with large-scale construction projects.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Work Environment

The role is part of a significant chips manufacturing project with a leading Engineering and Construction firm in the Power industry. Expect a supportive team environment with comprehensive resources. Benefits include per diem and a company truck. The project involves work in various locations, including Texas and Louisiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $48.00/hr.
