Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Salinas, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in providing advanced administrative support, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting leadership with daily tasks. Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive secretarial support, including typing, word processing, filing, record keeping, and composing correspondence for leadership.

Coordinate administrative workflows and procedural functions within assigned programs.

Serve as a point of contact to provide information to other departments and the public regarding specific areas of responsibility.

Prepare agendas for meetings, take detailed minutes, and distribute them promptly.

Operate and maintain office equipment such as computers, scanners, and copiers, while troubleshooting minor issues.

Organize and prioritize tasks to manage high-priority projects efficiently.

Maintain calendars and appointment schedules for administrators and staff.

Arrange travel and meeting logistics as needed.

Assist in monitoring department budgets, preparing purchase requisitions, and processing invoices for payment.

Compile statistical data, create reports, and maintain organized filing systems to support department operations. Requirements - At least 3 years of experience in administrative roles, with demonstrated proficiency in office management.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Suite, including the ability to use formulas and manage spreadsheets.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with staff, departments, and external contacts.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience in preparing payroll reports and maintaining employee attendance records.

Familiarity with compiling statistical data and creating detailed reports.

Proven ability to coordinate administrative tasks and support leadership in a fast-paced environment. TalentMatch®
