As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in access control operations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal procedures.
Assist with enforcing site policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
