As a Dispatch Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all staff and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring activity, coordinating communication between teams, and responding promptly to security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues, while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the logistics and distribution environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.
Monitor and manage communications for personnel and visitors, maintaining detailed logs and records of activities and incidents.
Dispatch security-related personnel and resources to various locations as required to address incidents or requests for assistance.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and tracking movement within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting any unusual activity or potential concerns.
Maintain clear and professional communication with Allied Universal team members and client representatives.
Support security-related operations by following established protocols and contributing to a secure environment for the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
