As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed post, and you will be expected to carry out your duties with professionalism and a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, building positive relationships and communicating clearly at all times. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate communication and de-escalation techniques.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities, helping to deter potential threats to the premises.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related occurrences as required by site protocols.
Follow all company and site-specific protocols for the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.
What We're Looking For:

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
