The Enterprise People Technology team leads the deployment of advanced People technology across Walmart's global operations, enhancing associate experience and operational efficiency. Integrating service operations with technology in Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience, the team drives strategic initiatives supporting millions worldwide. As part of Walmart Global Tech's Enterprise Business Services, it advances product innovation through data-driven insights and scalable enterprise solutions. The Principal Technical Program Manager within the Associate Lifecycle team plays a vital role in aligning technical excellence with business goals, ensuring impactful delivery and continuous improvement across complex programs.
What you'll do:
Define and manage large-scale technical programs with multiple dependencies, ensuring alignment of goals, timelines, and resources.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end technology solutions, driving clarity in ambiguous situations.
Oversee system design discussions, ensuring scalability, high availability, and performance across platforms.
Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage issues to maintain program momentum.
Establish and improve scalable workflows, prioritization frameworks, and automation initiatives.
Communicate progress and risks effectively to stakeholders, fostering alignment and informed decision-making.
Mentor team members on best practices in program and technical management.

What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in program and project management, including risk and stakeholder management across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Strong technical expertise in system architecture, software and hardware design, cloud infrastructure, and service management frameworks.
Understanding of how to build Agentic AI solutions in multi cloud environment.
Proven ability to translate product requirements into scalable technical designs and ensure operational excellence through monitoring and incident management.
Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive program delivery and continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication skills to align stakeholders and provide clear, data-driven updates.
Analytical problem-solving capabilities to identify systemic issues and implement effective solutions.
