Job Title: Truck Driver
Job Description:
As a Truck Driver, you will safely transport our customers' rotating equipment orders, for example, motors, fans, pumps and gearboxes. Additionally, you will be responsible for parts and supply pickup and delivery. You will also be responsible for delivering finished repaired units directly to customers and retrieving units that need repair, all while maintaining our commitment to timely and professional service.
Responsibilities
Transport and deliver goods in accordance with a schedule, including emergency, rush deliveries or pick-ups that require overtime.
Verify count and condition of transported items, reporting any damage as applicable.
Class B CDL license
Assist in loading and unloading freight as required.
Experience in rigging, operating cranes, and driving a forklift
Secure loads properly.
Assure that loads are within weight limits.
Operate truck in a safe manner.
Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
Report any vehicle problems or defects to supervisor immediately.
Maintain vehicles in a manner that projects positive company image to customers and the general public.
Maintain a good driving record.
Ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and by acting in a courteous, professional manner.
Ability to be on call once fully trained within an employee rotation.
Ability to deal with customers effectively and promote strong company image.
Some Shop Assistant tasks: Assisting with shop housekeeping and maintaining the facility.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Preferred Skills
Forklift Certification
OSHA Safety
Required Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid truck driver's license and a safe driving record.

Physical Requirements
Yearly physical certification is necessary.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; talk and hear.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to clearly see 20+ feet with or without corrective lenses. Must have ability for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position is based in our facility in Cleveland, OH. The majority of pickup and delivery routes will be throughout Northeast Ohio, occasionally there will be further trips. Majority of deliveries and pick-ups can be completed in one day.
