Administrator Construction Manager - Build the Future of Connectivity

$42.70 to $47.29/hr | 12-Month Contract | Norwalk, OH | Telecommunications Industry

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the telecommunications industry, is seeking an Administrator Construction Manager to join the team in Norwalk, OH In this role, you will oversee vital construction projects that directly support the expansion of critical fiber-optic infrastructure-helping to power digital connectivity and close the digital divide.

What You'll Do

As an Administrator Construction Manager, you will ensure projects are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing OSP construction activities performed by contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with state, local, and company standards

Coordinating with municipalities, utilities, and internal teams to maintain smooth project execution

Monitoring schedules, budgets, and contractor performance to ensure timely delivery

Conducting pre- and post-project inspections and maintaining accurate as-built records

Managing materials, invoices, timesheets, and project expenditures

Leading or participating in pre-construction meetings and addressing plant damage investigations

Supporting cross-functional teams including Engineering, Logistics, and Project Management

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of OSP construction standards, practices, and unit descriptions

5+ years of combined Outside Plant construction and splicing experience

Understanding of permitting requirements, WZP, and TCP

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, travel overnight occasionally, and lift moderately heavy objects

Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed

Valid driver's license required

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong OSP telecom placing experience (highly desirable)

Pay Details: $42.70 to $47.29 per hour
