Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Shoreline, Washington. Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring all invoices are accurately processed and paid in a timely manner.

Oversee purchasing activities, including the review and approval of purchase orders.

Perform reconciliations of financial accounts to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and analyze financial spreadsheets and reports.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Collaborate with team members to improve accounting procedures and workflows.

Monitor and maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documents. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or related role.

Proficiency in accounts payable processes and purchasing activities.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Familiarity with financial reconciliations and contract management.
