Our client, a dynamic organization in the finance and administrative sector, is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Payable team. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator

Location: Jacksonville, FL - Northside Blount Island

Pay Range: $21-24

Shift: Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies

Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure proper processing

Process payments to suppliers and vendors via checks, electronic transfers, and online platforms

Maintain effective relationships with vendors, respond to inquiries, and resolve payment discrepancies promptly

Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable activities, including aging reports and month-end reconciliations

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED;

Associates of Arts (AA) or Bachelor's degree (B.A) in accounting, finance, or a business-related field is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook

Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies

Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of transactions

Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, colleagues, and stakeholders

Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be able to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
