As part of our commitment to excellence and growth, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as a Global Strategic Pursuit Lead, within our Energy and Power line of business.

You will integrate with other sales functions, most prominently with our geographic sales leadership including Executive Directors of Sales, Market Growth Directors, Client Account Managers and Account Strategists, Subject Matter Experts as a key member of the Global Strategic Pursuits Sales Operations team. You will consistently advocate and adhere to Jacobs' Relationship Based Sales approach and adhere to sales process guidelines.

Engage directly with our clients to develop a deep understanding of client vision, investment plans and delivery challenges and draw on the wider Jacobs to develop intelligent solutions.

Form and lead pursuit teams establishing the right behaviors to create high performing teams.

Develop intelligent risk, commercial and contractual solutions and manage risk exposure. Prepare and present this information to Executive Leaders to make sound investment decisions.

Oversee the review, negotiation and close out of contracts, manage the handover of successful pursuits to Operations.

Demonstrated business acumen, applied sales strategy development throughout the pursuit lifecycle, creative thinking, critical and risk-based reasoning, and persuasive communication

Demonstrated ability to manage complex procurement processes from positioning through deliverable development, including focused writing as well as overall team leadership/mentorship

Ability to work with diverse sales and operations teams to understand client needs, challenges, and drivers; the competitive landscape; partner needs and opportunities; outside influences; and our key differentiators

Demonstrated the ability to lead storyboarding, presentation and interview preparation

Bachelor's Degree, Business Associate Degree, or equivalent experience within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) Industry, including direct involvement in professional services sales

Deep experience of effective Middle Game and pursuit strategy development

Visible leadership, ability to facilitate internal and client workshops

Quick resolution of issues, timely decisions, responsiveness, ability to get things done

Exemplar use of CSP (Salesforce)

Training and coaching others

Demonstrated business acumen, applied sales strategy development throughout the pursuit lifecycle, creative thinking, critical and risk-based reasoning, and persuasive communication

Willingness to travel when required

Be an exceptional facilitator, communicator, critical thinker, and strategic writer; recognize the importance of diverse teams and excel in leading them; approach problem-solving with the intent to find mutually beneficial solutions
