Position Location Policy
General Location: Open to candidates within the United States.
Hybrid Requirement (if within specific cities):
If the selected candidate resides in Cleveland, OH, Buffalo, NY, or Albany, NY, they are expected to work on-site 2 days per week at the nearest KeyBank office (non-branch location).
Remote Option:
If the selected candidate lives outside of KeyBank's geographic footprint, the position will be considered fully remote.
Job Summary
At KeyBank, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic Change Lead with a strong background in project and change management. The Change Lead thrives in a fast-paced, digital-first environment and can work independently while partnering across product, marketing, technology, and servicing teams to drive successful change initiatives. Champion transformative change by leading the adoption of innovative products, cultural evolution, and streamlined processes. Ensuring seamless transitions that enhance both employee engagement and client satisfaction by implementing structured change management strategies, fostering clear communication, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Work Experience
Required
Minimum 2 years experience in commercial digital, onboarding, servicing, or product management/ development.
Hands-on experience with change management and project execution
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Intermediate experience with Agile, i.e involvement in the agile process, with a good understanding of both strategic objectives and operations execution.
Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration during change initiatives by aligning stakeholders, analyzing and interpreting impacts on teams, and developing comprehensive change plans that enhance adoption and minimize disruption.
Experience operating in a data-driven environment, through insights and metrics to improve efficiency.
Preferred
Experience commercializing solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Experience creating compelling stories and presentations that engage stakeholders and clearly communicate complex ideas.
Familiarity with user-centered design and user experience principles.
Certification in change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) is a plus.
Skills
Business Acumen- Understanding of commercial banking, or related fields.
Digital Product Management- Experience in onboarding, servicing, or product development.
Change Management- Proven ability to lead and execute change initiatives.
Project Management- Strong execution and delivery of projects.
Communication & Influence-Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Agile Methodologies- Experience working in Agile and collaborative environments.
Data-Driven Decision Making-Comfort with using data to inform strategies and actions.
Storytelling & Presentation- Ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
Analytical Thinking- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Physical Demands
General office environment: Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face-to-face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
Travel/Driving Requirements
May need to drive or travel to corporate office locations for leadership meetings
