JOB DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently handling, storing, and moving materials to support production and customer order fulfillment. This role includes operating forklifts and box trucks, maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring compliance with safety and food safety standards, and performing both shipping and receiving activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Material Handling & Transportation Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials. Drive a box truck for internal and external deliveries as needed. Safety & Food Safety Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Adhere to all food safety regulations to maintain compliance and protect product integrity. Receiving & Shipping Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders. Prepare, package, and ship customer orders according to company and carrier requirements. Inventory Control Accurately record material movements and maintain inventory accuracy. Conduct cycle counts and assist with annual inventory audits. Quality & Cleanliness Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Inspect materials and products for damage or quality concerns. Communication & Documentation Communicate effectively with supervisors, production staff, and drivers to ensure smooth workflow. Complete all required paperwork and electronic records accurately and on time.

Qualifications: Valid driver's license with clean driving record; box truck experience preferred. Forklift certification or ability to become certified. Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperatures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Details and Wages:**

Some High School coursework completed

Valid Driver's license with clean driving record

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 1^st^ and 2^nd^ shift openings

$17.00 - $18.00/ hour plus $1.00 shift differential
