IMMEDIATELY HIRING!

Currently hiring in the Pottstown, PA for a FULL TIME warehouse associate opening for a steel manufacturing company. The warehouse associate will need experience operating forklifts, shipping, and palletizing. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of the steel products. Some other responsibilities will include measuring and cutting steel plates along with grinding and deburring imperfections. Prior experince working in a warehouse environment, filling customer orders, and ability using a tape measure. Looking to INTERVIEW IMMEDIATELY, offers WEEKLY PAY, and FULL TIME HOURS . Responsibilities

Operate a sit-down forklift to load steel plates onto trucks for shipping.

Follow customer orders and complete necessary shipping paperwork.

Package products in correctly sized boxes or containers and secure packages on skids.

Palletize products and transport them throughout the shipping department.

Measure and inspect steel plates, grinding and deburring imperfections as needed.

Maintain a clean workbench and work area.

Learn and identify different grades and gauges of material.

Essential Skills

1+ years of forklift operation experience.

1+ years of shipping experience, specifically following customer orders.

Proficiency in palletizing.

Ability to read and measure using a tape measure up to 1/32 inch.

Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa.

Experience with measuring tools such as rulers, tapes, and micrometers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
