Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities: Serve as the point of contact for customers and farmers Provide excellent customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor Schedule livestock processing appointments Assist customers in understanding and completing cut sheets Review cut sheets for completeness and accuracy Maintain accurate records, including invoices, cut sheets and intake logs Perform data entry tasks using QuickBooks, handle incoming calls, emails and walk-in customers Track processing flow and follow up with customers as needed Coordinate with plant management and staff to ensure seamless operations Support regulatory compliance Be receptive to training and feedback

Qualifications:

Experience in livestock processing or farming strongly preferred Familiarity with cut sheets or willingness to learn the concept Previous office management or administrative experience required Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities Positive, welcoming, and professional personality Strong attention to detail and follow through Background in agriculture business, meat processing, food production or related field
