As a Security Guard - Retail Patrols in Sweetwater, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service, offering assistance and clear communication to all individuals on site. This position is a driving post, requiring you to safely operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Interact professionally with the public, tenants, and staff, offering assistance and information as needed.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel if required during incidents or emergencies.
Remain alert to surroundings and maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to those at the location.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds; this is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
