2nd Shift CNC Machinist

Responsibilities:

· Must set-up, run, and inspect parts to drawing specification using CNC Lathe or CNC Mill, and/or CNC mill turn.

· Required to perform first article inspections and correct any discrepancies between part measurements and print requirements.

· Should be adept in all aspects of machining and assist other machinists as needed.

· Apply knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials and layout techniques.

· Utilizes tools and measuring instruments including, but not limited to saw, shear, grinder, calipers, micrometer, calculator, and various other hand tools.

· Read blueprints and inspect completed parts and related documentation.

· Retrieve appropriate tools from tool crib to complete job.

· Refer to reference books or confer with engineers to resolve questions/issues.

· Maintains equipment as necessary.

· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Strong communication and reading skills.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience to Set up and Operator CNC Lathe or CNC Mill

· Ability to read blueprints, machine and inspect completed parts and related documentation.

· Must have math skills to be able to set up the machine.

· Ability to lift/carry/pull/push up to 20lbs.

Shifts Available:

Shifts are available from Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30 pm with some overtime

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
