Summary You will serve as a Manager in the Logistics Support Department of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze. This position is equivalent to the GS- level. Responsibilities You will manage Integrated Product Support for Surface and Undersea Systems as NAVSEA's technical agent for life-cycle logistics product support. You will recruit, staff, develop, and manage a unit composed of technical and administrative personnel. You will plan, organize, and direct/lead personnel efforts, and provide them with appropriate training. You will manage a product line business plan. You will forecast workload and identify resource requirements. You will manage budgets and operational plans of action. You will ensure employee compliance with all Command policies and instructions. You will perform administrative functions including but not limited to, timekeeping, leave management, overtime and compensatory time, Defense Travel Systems (DTS), and telework management. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13/14 grade level or pay band (NT-05) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing Integrated Product Support for surface and/or undersea systems as a technical agent for life-cycle logistics product support design. Examples of qualifying experience include acquisition life-cycle logistics policy and program assessment and logistics competency development in collaboration with acquisitions program offices and in-service engineering agents.
