Atlantic Health System is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in our beautiful Pompton Plains location. The shifts will be 7a-5:15p for two days of the week and 10a-8:15p for two days per week; no weekends are required. What Your Day Might Look Like
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and fellow rehab team members
Communicate with patients and families to ensure understanding and continuity of care
Support various appointment @types and adapt care plans as needed
Principal Accountabilities:
Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation. Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision.

Atlantic Rehabilitation offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, wound care management and more. All of which are provided by a highly trained staff comprised of physiatrists; internists; physician assistants; nurse practitioners; rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational, and recreational therapists; speech-language pathologists; social workers; psychologists; vocational rehabilitation counselors; dieticians; audiologists; and care managers.
Requirements
New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
Preferred
1-5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist and Experience in general outpatient
