We are looking for a Manager of Sales Finance interested in starting a career with a top-ranked and growing snack company, as part of our Finance department at PIM's Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey.
Overview:
Reporting to the Director, Sales Finance, the Manager will provide financial guidance and decision-making support to Sales Channel leaders and broker partners to achieve profitable growth. The Manager, Sales Finance will collaborate with the Sales departments to continue driving effective trade spend ROI, recommendations for P&L enhancement, and efficient/optimized resource utilization. This manager will partner cross-functionally while assisting in the development of traditional trade and retail media programs, analyzing working trade/non-trade expenses, and provide transparency to all levels of the sales hierarchy. This manager will be responsible for providing oversight of the budget versus plan versus actual spend. The manager will oversee both the convenience channel and Amazon.com.
Individual Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of financial plans and forecasts for Sales Channels and broker partners, including trade spend, revenue, gross margin, and SG&A.
Analyze sales performance and trade spend effectiveness to identify opportunities and risks and provide recommendations to optimize profitability and ROI.
Partner with Sales Channel leaders and broker partners to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, market share gains, and operational efficiency.
Provide financial guidance and support for contract negotiations, pricing decisions, trade terms, and customer profitability analysis.
Manage and monitor trade spend accruals, payments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reviews and business updates to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
Drive process improvements and best practices to enhance the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, preferably in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
CPG experience in the food, candy, snacking and/or confectionery categories: an inventory-based business
Minimum 5+ years' experience providing financial analysis to sales teams that include forecasting, P&L, ROI and profitability
Experience with sales finance, including trade spend, trade promotions, analysis and ROI
Experience supporting convenience channels and/or Amazon.com
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights and recommendations effectively
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools. Experience with SAP preferred.
Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
High degree of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities and deadlines.

This is a HYBRID position - The role requires working on-site: Monday thru Thursday; Work from home/remotely on a rotating Friday schedule.
Estimated 5% to manufacturing locations, trade shows, retailer/broker/customer business reviews, etc.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $115,000.00 to $150,000.00.
