As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment at a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. In this armed post, you will be required to carry and maintain proper licensing for your assigned equipment. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific protocols.
Carry and responsibly handle a firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and state regulations, being prepared to respond appropriately when necessary.
Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
Follow all company protocols and procedures while adapting to the unique environment of a manufacturing and industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have 1 or more years of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Must possess a current armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
