This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, building long-term client relationships, and leading strategic business development initiatives. Day to Day - Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial, industrial, and infrastructure construction sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Cultivate strong relationships with developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key decision-makers.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales strategies with company goals and market trends.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff and project estimators.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Anticipate client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with project requirements and budgets.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
- Monitor construction market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior management.
- Continuously refine sales processes and tools to maximize efficiency and results.
Skills/Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of proven sales experience in the construction industry or related sectors.
- Strong network and established relationships with industry stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to close large-scale, complex construction projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on sales initiatives.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and digital sales tools.
