Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based in Summit, New Jersey, and offers a hybrid work schedule, with in-office days from Tuesday to Thursday. The position is ideal for someone with strong accounting skills who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Accounting Associate Responsibilities:

Perform credit card reconciliations using NetSuite to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.

Enter bills into Bill.com

Conduct thorough reviews of credit card transactions to verify proper coding and categorization.

Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies in financial records.

Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date financial documentation.

Support month-end closing processes by preparing reconciliations and reports.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial tasks.

Requirements

Accounting Associate Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

Experience with credit card and bank reconciliations.

Familiarity with accounting software, including QuickBooks and NetSuite.

Ability to accurately code invoices and categorize financial transactions.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities within a team setting.

Prior experience with Bill.com is a plus.
