Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our finance team in Macon, Georgia. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to build on your accounting expertise while contributing to a fast-paced automotive industry environment. The role requires proficiency in financial data entry, Excel, and administrative accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

Accurately input financial transactions and maintain detailed records.

Assist in managing daily accounting operations and supporting the finance team.

Handle accounts payable processes, including vendor payments and invoice reconciliation.

Prepare financial reports and documentation using tools like Excel and other Office applications.

Perform administrative accounting duties as required, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Support accounts receivable functions, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.

Collaborate with the team to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.

Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks and financial data management.

Process invoices and verify accuracy before payment.

Contribute to maintaining organized and accurate financial documentation. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

Proficiency in Excel and Office Suite.

Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.

Ability to process invoices and handle financial documentation.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Capability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
