A national firm with offices in Seattle is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant. This role requires someone with strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of litigation processes to support attorneys in handling complex legal matters. The ideal candidate will excel in managing schedules, preparing legal documents, and ensuring the seamless execution of administrative tasks.

The salary range is 70-100k DOE. In addition, the firm provides medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k with profit sharing, 4 weeks PTO, commuting benefits and other perks. They offer a hybrid schedule allowing for up to 3 days to work-from-home weekly once onboarded.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage attorneys' calendars, including scheduling meetings, court dates, and deadlines.

Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence with a high level of accuracy.

Perform e-filing of legal documents in compliance with court requirements.

Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accessibility and proper documentation.

Assist in the preparation and assembly of materials for hearings, trials, and depositions.

Conduct research and gather information relevant to ongoing cases.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.

Support attorneys in handling commercial and construction litigation matters.

Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of required filings.

Provide general administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the legal team.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant handling Washington cases

Proficiency in calendaring and managing schedules for attorneys.

Expertise in e-filing systems for Washington counties and federal courts

Strong proofreading, formatting and document preparation skills with attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
