Job Title: Manufacturing Operator III

Job Description

The Manufacturing Operator III will be responsible for performing tasks essential to the production of pharmaceutical products. This includes setting up equipment, executing manufacturing steps as per the formula, and disassembling and cleaning equipment. The role requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Batch Records, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards. The candidate will also assist in training other operators and troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manufacturing equipment following standard procedures.

Execute manufacturing processes according to detailed formulas and instructions.

Disassemble and clean equipment as required.

Understand and follow manufacturing directions from Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Batch Records.

Assist in training fellow operators.

Troubleshoot equipment and process-related problems.

Ensure compliance with GMP standards.

Maintain effective communication with supervision and other departments.

Lead and collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

Essential Skills

Basic math skills.

Basic computer knowledge.

Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals.

Ability to lift/move weights up to 75 pounds with assistance.

Basic literacy in English.

Mechanical aptitude.

Knowledge of computer systems and SAP for processing electronic batch records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/mechanical environment.

Experience in a GMP environment is preferred.

Strong communication skills across all departments.

Capability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work duties.

Attention to detail and strong observational skills.

Work Environment

The position requires working 100% onsite in Cincinnati from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. The role involves wearing protective gear such as an air-powered respirator, Tyvek hood, and Tyvek suit. Physical activities include lifting/moving heavy weights, climbing ladders, and operating pallet jacks. The work setting supports a GMP environment with an emphasis on safety and adherence to strict procedural guidelines.

This is a Contract position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
