As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and serving as a reliable point of contact for employees and visitors. You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond promptly to any situations that arise. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor for unusual activity, security-related hazards, and/or conditions that may require attention or intervention.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations at the site.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
