As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage production location, you will play a vital role in access control and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel, visitors, and contractors entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for any irregularities.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding security-related matters and site conditions.
Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures for the food and beverage environment, supporting compliance with relevant guidelines.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
