As a Unarmed Security Officer - Manufacturing Site in Roanoke Rapids, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and being a point of contact for employees and visitors. You will also be expected to respond to situations as they arise, communicate clearly with your team, and deliver excellent customer service. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activities in and around the premises to help to deter potential issues and promote a secure environment.
Document and report any unusual incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials of individuals entering the location as required by site policies.
Collaborate with client representatives and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and support ongoing security-related initiatives.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
