JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: The Medical College of
Wisconsin\'s Department of Radiology, Division of Diagnostic Radiology
is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide
primary or specialty medical care within defined scope of practice under
the supervision of a licensed physician and in accordance with
MCW/FMLH/CHW policies and procedures. LocatedatFroedtert Imaging
Locations - Primarily RAYUS and CP locations, with potential to staff at
Froedtert Hospital or the Froedtert Community Hospital Divisions. The
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a
multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in
program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality
improvement, and teaching. Preferred Work Schedule: Full-time role with
expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility
required as necessary to accommodate business needs In this role you
will: Performs comprehensive histories and physical exams, identifies
normal and abnormal findings, including physical, cognitive and
psychosocial status. Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic
tests. Develops pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans.
Monitors effectiveness of plan of care. Educates patients on disease and
treatment plans. Performs procedures as trained and appropriately
credentialed. Documents within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and
completes other necessary documents. Collaborates and/or consults with
physicians and other health care providers as appropriate. Educates,
counsels, and assists patients and families regarding current health
problems, health maintenance activities and preventive behaviors. Core
Advanced Practice Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive histories and
physical exams, identifies normal and abnormal findings, including
physical, cognitive, and psychosocial status. Order, perform, and
interpret screening and diagnostic procedures and tests, and
appropriately communicates and documents information Write accurate and
timely progress notes, procedure notes, and/or admission and transfer
orders Develop pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans.
Monitor effectiveness of plan of care Educate patients on disease and
treatment plans. Perform procedures as trained and appropriately
