Description

Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to join our team in the Greater Philadelphia area. In this role, you will oversee critical functions within the accounts payable department, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in all processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to fostering team success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the accounts payable team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Review and approve vendor bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

Manage daily reconciliations of vendor accounts and assist in resolving any discrepancies.

Oversee and prioritize tasks within shared accounts payable inboxes, ensuring timely completion of assignments.

Coordinate workload distribution across the team to maintain efficient processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Ensure accurate processing and application of vendor payments, including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards.

Assist with month-end close activities, audit preparation, and reporting requirements.

Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering growth and consistent performance.

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Payable Team Lead candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration

Other requirements for the Accounts Payable Team Lead position include and are not limited to:

3+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience; leadership or mentoring experience strongly preferred.

High-volume data entry background with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Solid computer and Excel skills required

NetSuite experience preferred

Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
