Direct Hire Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM (5x10s)

Pay: $30.00-$32.00/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Kelly is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our production, quality, and inspection equipment running smoothly. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to take on a fast-paced environment-this is the opportunity for you!

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on production and inspection equipment

Read and interpret mechanical drawings to identify parts and perform repairs

Move, position, and verify proper operation of equipment

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement machine modifications

Fabricate minor machine parts and safety guards

Perform basic mechanical repairs and rebuilds

Conduct electrical troubleshooting (fuses, motors, switches, etc.)

Replace minor electrical components as needed

What You'll Bring

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

Experience in machine repair and fabrication
