In this vital role, you will oversee the planning and coordination of the nutritional care for residents at Clarks Summit State Hospital. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will oversee the development of a comprehensive nutritional care program for residents. This includes preparing and adjusting menus and nutritional care plans based on physician orders and established standards of nutrition. The program includes nutritional assessments, diet histories, and other medical record documentation. Additionally, you will be expected to work with a high degree of initiative and independent professional judgment. You will also assist in the management of all nutritional care issues and provide recommendations aimed at improving the dietary department's performance. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:

This position requires certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
