Description

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Assistant to support the administration and management for our client. The position is based in Fairfax, Virginia, and offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the of development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily administrative and operational activities.

Collaborate with project developers to conduct analysis and prioritize target sites for renewable energy opportunities.

Ensure all project documentation is accurately collected, filed, and maintained.

Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery.

Oversee vendor contracting, procurement processes, and material supply chains.

Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.

Participate in vendor and consultant selection, negotiating terms and managing relationships.

Build and maintain effective relationships with key consultants and vendors.

Monitor and suggest improvements for project tracking and reporting processes.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support project development.

Requirements

Proven experience in managing timelines and coordinating schedules for large-scale projects.

Familiarity with scheduling processes.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong ability to organize and support detailed project plans.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to adapt to schedule changes and prioritize tasks effectively.
