We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our branch retail banking team. As a frontline representative of our institution, the ideal candidate will exhibit excellent cash-handling skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong dedication to providing outstanding customer service. This role requires basic math proficiency, computer knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Handling: Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, while maintaining security protocols and minimizing errors.

Customer Service: Provide professional, friendly, and approachable service to all customers, answering inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

Frontline Banking Activities: Assist clients with account-related transactions, offer product or service recommendations, and help individuals navigate branch offerings.

Problem Solving: Address customer concerns by identifying solutions and escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate department when necessary.

Computer Operations: Use internal banking systems and software to process transactions, update customer information, and generate reports.

Basic Math Skills: Ensure accurate counting and reconciliation of cash to maintain precise accounting records daily.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in customer-facing roles; retail or banking experience preferred.

Strong cash-handling skills and attention to detail to minimize discrepancies.

Competency in basic mathematics for transaction accuracy.

Ability to work productively on the frontlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective problem-solving skills and sound judgment.

Solid computer knowledge and familiarity with banking software.

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
