Job Title: Admin / Data Entry Specialist

Location: On Site - Albany, NY

Temporary Role: Approximately 4-8 Weeks

Full Time: Monday - Friday

Position Summary:

The Admin / Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately coordinating, entering and maintaining program-related data across multiple systems. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently over extended periods. In this short-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting various program initiatives, including volunteer coordination, event logistics, and outreach efforts. Key Responsibilities:

Enter and update data in systems such as the Games Management System (GMS) and Vsys.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of records

Assist with generating reports and tracking program metrics.

Support event logistics through data collection and registration tracking.

Maintain organized digital records and assist with document preparation and distribution

Provide comprehensive support to program functions, including volunteer management, coach training, outreach, and competition coordination.

Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of program initiatives

Communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and external partners to share program information and develop materials.

Manage logistics for events, including the collection, organization, and analysis of relevant records, data, and reports.

Ensure the principles of inclusion, Unified Sports, and Unified Champion School programming are integrated into all activities and initiatives.

Collaborate with team members to uphold the mission of inclusivity in all seasonal and annual programming efforts.

Requirements

Proven ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks with precision and consistency.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Proficiency in data entry and database management systems.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with event coordination and logistics.

Commitment to the values and mission of the non-profit sector.

Prior experience in data entry for government entities is a plus.

Proven experience in administrative support or assistance roles.
