Job Title: Warehouse Attendant Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Attendant to join our team. The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse. This includes receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, organizing and maintaining inventory, picking and packing orders, and assisting with general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Receive and inspect incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and damages. - Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring items are properly labeled, stored, and rotated. - Prepare orders by picking and packing items according to customer specifications. - Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging. - Conduct regular stock checks and assist in performing inventory counts. - Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe and efficient manner. - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. - Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times. - Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth warehouse operations. - Assist in other general warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required. - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. - Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures. - Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately. - Forklift certification is a plus.
