Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Located near Oak Park! Weekly pay + benefits + PTO

Must have qualification:

1+ year of accounting experience, preferably from the engineering or construction industry

Strong communication skills

MS Office Suite

Job Description

Join a dedicated team as an Accounting Assistant, where you will handle all payables, manage packing slips for receiving, and process and handle invoices. Contribute to a family-run business with a longstanding history of stability and growth potential.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable processes.

Handle packing slips for receiving.

Process and manage invoices.

Coordinate projects and facilitate reconciliations.

Essential Skills

Experience in construction-related accounting.

Proficiency in accounts payable and bookkeeping.

Strong invoicing skills.

Ability to use a spectrum analyzer.

Experience in project coordination and reconciliation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in work approach.

Ability to work in a relaxed and casual environment.

Work Environment

Work in a casual, family-oriented environment where loyalty and long-term employment are valued. Working hours from 8am to 4:30pm. Enjoy free street parking and daily provided lunches. The team consists of an account manager specializing in union and payroll taxes, an overseer of all accounts payable, and a person handling accounts receivable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
