We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting and Administrative Specialist to join our team in Milwaukie, Oregon. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals skilled in managing accounting tasks and customer accounts within a collaborative environment. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys working with both customers and team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain customer accounts with precision and efficiency in the database.

Process payments accurately and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries, addressing requests and resolving concerns.

Support the team with both ongoing and special projects to meet organizational goals.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and vendors to foster positive communication and teamwork.

Manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Utilize accounting software systems and ERP tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing solutions to optimize workflows.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities.

Requirements - Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes.

Experience in posting payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Prior experience in customer account management or related roles.

Familiarity with the real estate or property management industry is a plus.
