Accounting Assistant 2

Our client, a leading organization in the finance and accounting sector, is seeking an Accounting Assistant 2 to join their team. As an Accounting Assistant 2, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Assistant 2

Location: Mettawa, IL

Shift: M-F: 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

Processing new membership agreements, hold requests, and other billing-related member requests

Preparing KPI trackers to monitor performance metrics

Collaborating closely with the Sales team and Member Experience team to ensure an excellent member experience

Working with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve invoicing issues

Supporting data entry, record keeping, and computer operations to maintain accurate financial records

What's Needed?

Minimum 1 year of experience in general accounting or transaction processing

Associate degree in Finance or Accounting

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and documentation skills

Strong problem-solving, research, and multi-tasking abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
