Warehouse/ Parts Associate

Poway, CA - 1st Shift - $18/hr

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Parts Associate, where you will be responsible for picking parts, packing boxes, and potentially making cables with comprehensive training provided. This role may also involve some FedEx and DHL shipping tasks.

Responsibilities

Pick and pull parts from work orders received.

Wrap parts in plastic material.

Box and package products.

Operate a forklift as needed.

Perform general warehouse duties.

Assist with shipping duties, including creating FedEx labels and labeling boxes.

Essential Skills

Experience with labeling, warehouse packaging, and pulling orders.

Ability to pick, pull, and package items efficiently.

Customer service oriented with experience in parts inventory management.

Familiarity with FedEx and DHL shipping processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to pass a drug test.

Entry-level position with minimal heavy lifting required.

Experience with pulling orders is a plus.

Willingness to work overtime.

Mechanically inclined for cross-training opportunities.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse environment where some heavy lifting may be required. The facility is open, and temperatures inside can match outside conditions, especially if it's hot. Breaks and refreshments such as water and Gatorade are provided during hot conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
