Job Title: Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to assist building owners and property managers in enhancing energy efficiency measures. This role involves promoting energy efficiency programs through outreach activities, managing customer relationships, and providing strategic input to ensure program success.

Responsibilities

Assist building owners and property managers by providing guidance on potential energy efficiency measures.

Promote the energy efficiency program through outreach activities, including prospective customer/contractor lunch and learns, trade show presentations, and cold calling.

Discuss technical elements of energy-consuming equipment such as lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, heating, and hot water systems, as well as the building envelope.

Assist with customer segmentation, targeting, and the development and maintenance of contact lists.

Develop and monitor key performance indicators to enhance enrollment, customer engagement, and contractor participation.

Develop and manage long-term relationships with building owners, property managers, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders.

Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports to track progress toward program goals.

Provide strategic input into the evaluation and revision of processes, procedures, forecasting, and delivery approaches.

Shepherd projects through the program process and resolve any issues that arise.

Mechanical engineering

Strong technical and conceptual understanding of residential/multifamily building science

High level of oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and client presentations

Business acumen and customer awareness

Sound reasoning, problem solving, and critical thinking abilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the low-to-moderate income (LMI) segment

Bachelor's degree in marketing, environmental/economic policy, or business

Master's degree is a plus

PE, CEM, or other related certification

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEW YORK, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.65/hr.
