Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a general contractor construction company that specializes in commercial fit-outs. This position involves managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed with high quality, within budget, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

Manage 4-8 construction projects concurrently, ensuring high quality and adherence to timelines and budgets.

Coordinate with clients/owners and internal teams to maintain project alignment.

Oversee project budgets and scheduling to ensure efficient resource allocation.

Select and manage subcontractors effectively to ensure project success.

Collaborate with superintendents to manage day-to-day project activities.

Essential Skills

Experience in project management and construction management.

Background in working with general contractors.

Ability to manage 5+ projects simultaneously, including preconstruction phases.

Proficient in project coordination and estimation.

Experience with construction documents.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years as an Assistant Project Manager or 5+ years as a Project Manager in commercial construction.

Strong scheduling and project planning skills.

Proven experience in negotiating and managing subcontractors.

Experience in handling quick turnaround projects.

Work Environment

The role requires working both in an office setting and on-site as needed. After 90 days, one remote day per week is offered. The company provides a friendly, small-family feel environment with an established history. The office space is renovated with convenient parking.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Rockville, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
