Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

Location: 6021 Cleveland Ave Columbus, OH 43231

Type of Employment : Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday. Mon/Wed 10am-7pm, Tues/Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 7am-4pm

Compensation: Starting at $24/hr, commensurate with experience

Incentives: $5,000 Sign-on Bonus, Student Debt Benefit (up to $200 monthly tuition assistance)

Our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.

Center specialties include: Ortho, Sports Med, Pelvic Health, Center of Excellence, Pediatrics, Hand Therapy, Vestibular, Amputees, Aquatics, Dry Needling, Concussion, ReVital, Fall Prevention, FCE's and an ACL Program.

Responsibilities

Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

CPR certification
