The ARC is a critical hub for monitoring and responding to risk events that may impact GE Aerospace operations worldwide. Role Overview
As an Aerospace Response Center Watch Officer, you will oversee day-to-day ARC operations during rotating shifts, ensuring continuous monitoring and response to risk events affecting GE Aerospace. This role involves evaluating and responding to potential threats, coordinating with teams during incidents, and implementing crisis management processes. You will also contribute to training ARC personnel and recommending improvements to standard work to enhance resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess risk events across product, security, infrastructure, reputational, and cyber risk areas.
Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure effective response, communication, and collaboration during incidents.
Make quick decisions in high-stakes environments, prioritizing tasks and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
Adhere to internal crisis management plans, standards, and regulations during emergencies.
Implement GE Aerospace response and global security operations processes.
Assist in managing crisis triage efforts, phone lines, security tools, case management systems, emergency notification systems, and security distribution lists.
Provide real-time support and guidance to GE Aerospace travelers, addressing safety or security concerns during their journeys.
Conduct training sessions for ARC personnel, including analysts and other watch officers.
Utilize technical expertise and judgment to solve problems, leveraging analytic thinking and technical skills.
Complete special assignments and other duties/tasks as assigned.
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a challenging, high-stress environment.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Security Management, Risk Management, International Relations, Political Science) from an accredited university or college.
Strong understanding of global security issues and risk mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
Willingness to work shifts in a 24/7 operational environment, including on-call availability.
Must be a United States citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Multilingual capabilities.
Proven experience in incident and crisis management in a Global Security Operations Center.
Experience in the use of Ontic and Everbridge software platforms.
Additional Information
Work Shift: Rotating shifts in a 24/7 operational environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours.
Work Authorization: Must comply with U.S. immigration and legal requirements.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance.
Physical Requirements: May involve standing, walking, and lifting as required by the role.
