About this Job
This position performs and manages purchasing, property control, records management, printing and duplication, fleet management, telecommunications, and safety for the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement.
This vacancy will be filled by new hire or by promotion of a current permanent status classified employee. A permanent status employee may be required to serve a new probationary period in lieu of promotion.

Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Responsible for purchasing the Agency supplies, equipment, furniture, and software.
Responsible for managing and processing all facets of state property management for the Agency.
Acts as agency liaison with the Office of Risk Management-Loss Prevention.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Act as agency liaison with the Secretary of State - Archives.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of required documentation.

Appointment Type: Probational. Current classified permanent status employees may be required to take a probational appointment if selected for this position.
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
