Key Responsibilities

Inspect and approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods against engineering drawings and specifications.

Perform visual and dimensional inspections using height gages, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision measurement tools.

Document inspection results through reports, logs, and database entries, including rework and scrap tracking.

Support production teams by communicating nonconformances and required adjustments.

Maintain and verify proper operation of inspection equipment, coordinating calibration or repair when needed.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality systems and reduce rework.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing role (preferred).

Strong working knowledge of metrology and mechanical measurement equipment.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Experience with CMM inspection highly desirable.

Familiarity with quality documentation, reporting, and data entry.

Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.
