Responsibilities

TRC has multiple openings for Transportation Construction Inspectors of all levels throughout West Virginia. This is a full-time, direct hire role with full benefits and the opportunity to advance with an established, growing company. Responsibilities: Perform daily site inspections for highway and/or bridge construction projects to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and codes. Measure and record pay quantities. Prepare daily reports. Review the Contractor's schedule. Review and provide input on potential change order issues. Maintain project records. High School Diploma, or equivalent. Six (6) months of construction experience with bridges, roadways, and highways. Valid driver's license. Basic computer skills. Ability to obtain WVTRET Certification within six (6) months of hire. Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications (not required): WVTRET Certification (Level I - V). WVDOH Materials Certifications in Soil - Aggregate Compaction, Portland Cement Concrete and Asphalt Field - Compaction. Associate's degree in civil engineering technology, or related. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering technology, or related. Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year). All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year. TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.
