Overview: We are seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant in our Immigration Department. The position involves working in a dynamic and fast-faced environment assisting immigrants navigate the US immigration system. Key Responsibilities Include: Providing legal administrative support to immigration attorneys and paralegals Answering phones and liaising with clients; scheduling meetings Entering data on our tracking and document management systems; docketing and tracking case deadlines Entering critical information into multiple systems Finalizing detailed submissions to be sent to the Immigration Service Preparing expense reports; assist with department client collections and funds and assisting with attorney business development activities. Our Ideal Candidates Will Have: Candidates must be detail-oriented, have excellent technical and high-level administrative skills with ability to make executive decisions and work independentl Ability to multi-task continuously Have cross-cultural communication skills Ability to collaborate and work in a team, fast-paced and process-oriented environment Possess a strong interest in and compassion for working with immigrants (from highly educated professionals, investors, and international artists to skilled workers and refugees). Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite with high proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Profession Experience with administrative project and data management preferred, with excellent grammar and communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required Aptitude to learn and understand financial acumen of business operations Fluency in Spanish (both verbal and written) BA degree and prior legal administrative assistant experience preferred but not required. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
