As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment within a dynamic retail or mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting visitors, tenants, and staff with professionalism and courtesy. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall areas, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to guests, tenants, and staff.
Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
